EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO JOIN CONFERENCE COMMITTEE | ARCHITEAM 2027 CONFERENCE

ArchiTeam is pleased to announce the appointment of Talina Edwards and Andy Marlow, Directors of Envirotecture, as Conference Curators for the ArchiTeam 2027 Conference. Talina and Andy are also wanting to collaborate with some emerging practitioners to help shape the direction of the conference.

Expression of Interest to Join Conference Committee

We’d love to have the input and insight from a younger emerging architect (or two) to join us in curating the conference because the theme resonates with you! (Or perhaps you know someone who’d be interested, and could tap them on the shoulder).

Who: 

A graduate of architecture (or recently registered architect) who cares deeply about a regenerative future where the built-environment is co-created with care for the natural environment, while acknowledging the practicalities of running a small practice - in line with the ArchiTeam ethos.

Role: 

To be a voice in shaping the conference, advising and coordinating with the rest of the committee on the content we should be sharing and the way this information is shared.  Assisting with Identifying and selecting speakers aligned with the conference vision, ensuring a balanced and diverse speaker lineup, including gender balance and cultural diversity.  

This will include attending remote online meetings (approximately monthly)  in the lead up to the conference. 

Please note: The ArchiTeam staff take care of the conference logistics, administration and event-organisational side of things.

Remuneration: 

This is a voluntary/advocacy role, but you’ll also receive:

• Complimentary ArchiTeam CPD (live and online) for 12 months
• Complimentary ArchiTeam Conference registration
• Flights and accommodation, for those based outside Victoria
• An invitation to attend the pre-conference Director's Thank You Dinner, with all speakers.

Please note: Successful applicants will need to be an ArchiTeam member. You can join today for a special - 15 months membership (with or without insurance) for the price of 12 months!
