Australia’s first ever Carbon Neutral + GreenRate Level A Certified Bricks, Blocks, Pavers & Retaining Wall range - and more for 2026.
Following the completion of recent third-party audits by Global GreenTag International, Island Block & Paving formally confirms and discloses its verified certifications for 2026.
These certifications are not marketing claims. They are independently assessed benchmarks designed to support architects, designers and builders specifying materials in an environment of increasing carbon accountability.
Each certificate provides measurable, transparent data aligned with Green Star, ESG reporting and government procurement frameworks - enabling informed material selection with reduced compliance risk.
The 2026 verified credentials include:
- Carbon Neutral Certification: supported by EPD data and audited product sales offsets, third-party verified to quantify and responsibly offset embodied emissions.
- Global GreenTag GreenRate Level A: independently verifying 37.6% recycled content and achieving a premium outcome within the Green Star rating tool.
- Platinum Product Health Declarations (PHDs): confirming no VOCs and transparent disclosure of material health impacts.
- Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs): documenting a low baseline Global Warming Potential of just 117.39kg CO₂e.
- ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001 aligned Quality Management Systems: reinforcing consistency, traceability and responsible manufacturing standards.
Together, these certifications demonstrate a clear position: sustainability must be quantified, verified and openly disclosed.
By manufacturing with recycled glass, transparently quantifying lifecycle impacts and subjecting performance to independent audit, Island Block & Paving positions masonry in line with the environmental standards of 2026 and beyond - delivering materials that are not only designed to endure but proven to perform.
