Practice Management and CAA | Managing the Risk through documentation, systems and processes
Overview:
Time to dive deep into the Why, What and How of Practice Management and Risk management systems that we can use to run our practice and projects to minimise our risk profile – and STRESS
Speakers:
- Dado Hrustanpasic - Holding Redlich (Lawyers) - Speaking on the recently released update of ArchiTeam’s Client Architect Agreement
- Andy Marlow - Envirotecture
- Rebecca Naughtin - RN Architect
- Anthony DiMase - DiMase Architects
- Jean Graham - Winter Architecture
First Up
We will start by reviewing our initial touchstone with a review of ArchiTeam’s recently revised Client Architect Agreement with Holding Redlich giving attendees an overview of why this document is so crucial and what has changed.
This is your opportunity to ask all those burning questions for the lawyers about the agreement.
- How do I vary my agreement?
- What if I’m only providing partial architectural services – should I still use the agreement?
- How do I enter Special Conditions?
Then
We will hear from four experienced architects discussing ways they use systems and tools to better manage their practice and projects.
- How we manage our time and communication in the office – Andy Marlow will break down the research ENVIROTECTURE did to show how other offices are doing this.
- Rebecca Naughtin will discuss the systems she has employed to run her practice both in person and remotely to give each project the best chance of success.
- Anthony DiMase to discuss the practical ways they work on site and in the office managing communication and team coordination – especially when things get tricky
- This will be followed by an interactive Q&A – hosted by ArchiTeam director Jean Graham – to further the discussion and delve deep into the issues these practitioners have faced in their roles. This is your opportunity to ask all those questions that we’ve all seen pop up on the forum!
By the end of this session, you won’t just understand Practice Management Systems - you’ll have a clearer vision of how they can support smarter, more strategic practice operations.
