On Wednesday 15 November over 200 attendees squeezed into NoVacancy Gallery at the QV in Melbourne to hear the announcement of the annual ArchiTeam Awards. With almost 130 entries it was our biggest ArchiTeam Awards to date. The Awards program can be viewed here
Architecture Architecture scooped the pool with three awards – two for Dark Horse, including the coveted ArchiTeam Medal and a Small Project Medal commendation for their project Together Apart. They were also joint winners of the Residential New category (sponsored by Valley Windows) alongside po-co Architecture and their project Tess and JJ’s House.
Light Corridor House by FIGR Architecture Studio won two awards, Residential Alterations and Additions (sponsored by Aussie Gutter Protection), and their project Datum House was awarded a commendation in the Residential New category.
Workshop Bros Glen Waverley by Studio Esteta won the Commercial Award and ArchiTeam member Warwick Mihaly of Mihaly Slocombe was honoured to receive the Contribution Award for his work on Panfilo.
In the Medal categories, Richmond Hill by Melbourne Design Studios (MDS) was awarded the Sustainability Medal and Cairo Studio by Nicholas Agius Architects won the Small Project Medal.

On Monday 27 November the People’s Choice Award winner was announced as Cubby Office by Krishna Cheung, you can view the winning project here.
