In an increasingly competitive construction industry, the best builders seem less willing to competitively tender than ever. Is negotiated tendering the answer? What are the pros and cons of each approach, and what are their impacts on the architect / builder relationship?
This workshop will feature architect / builder teams representing each approach. They will share the stories of their projects and insights into their tendering, construction and collaboration processes.
As the topic of tendering has appeared regularly on the ArchiTeam forum, this workshop will give you the opportunity to raise concerns from your own practice, share horror stories and strategies you’ve put in place to achieve the best construction outcomes.
