Zoe Geyer


Zoe Geyer is principle at ZGA which she formed in 2009.  Zoe has over 13 years experience working in architecture. Zoë trained at RMIT and was a scholarship student at Japan’s Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1999, where she was tutored with local architects Jun Aoki and Atelier Bow-Wow. Studies of the urban environment were compiled in the publication By-Product-Tokyo in 2003. Zoë remains active in industry events and has been recognised in awards programs and publications locally and internationally.

Zoe joined the ArchiTeam board in 2014 and manages the Awards portfolio, as well as being the current Chair.  As a young female Architect, Zoë seeks to encourage dialogue and cross-pollination between all members within the ArchiTeam and broader architectural community.

Zoe  lives in inner Melbourne and enjoys exploring other creative fields, such as silversmithing and printmaking, when she finds the time.

Fooi- B+W

FOOI- LING KHOO, Marketing

Fooi- Ling Khoo is the director of Oof!  Architecture which she formed 10 years ago.  Oof! Architecture specialises in domestic and commercial inner city design.  Her practice has won several local architecture awards and received extensive media coverage both within Australia and internationally.

Fooi studied her degree at the University of Queensland,  Germany and University of Melbourne. Fooi maintains a strong commitment to architectural education and has taught design at RMIT and the University of Melbourne as well as being a regular guest critic. She is a keen supporter of Modernist design advocates such as DoCoMoMo and the Robin Boyd Foundation, whose film society, DADo, she co-founded and runs.

Fooi joined the ArchiTeam Board in 2015 and has worked as the director of finance. She recently moved into the marketing portfolio.

Barbara Moje B+W


Barbara Moje graduated from RMIT University with honours in 1991 and worked as an architect in Germany for 3 years. She registered in 1998 in Victoria and has been running her practice barbara moje architecture since.

barbara moje architecture specialises in residential projects of all complexities, having completed apartment and warehouse fit-outs, heritage work, extensions and second storey additions, restorations of country houses and also smaller interior design upgrades.  A new house, bushfire –resistant dwellings and has also delivered various commercial projects are also among her many projects spread across around Melbourne and regional Victoria.

In 2013 Barbara qualified as a Lighting Designer (IES Tech) with the IESANZ.  She has also tutored at Melbourne Polytechnic, and has been guest critic at RMIT and Melbourne University.   She has been an ArchiTeam member since 1998, has contributed to the CPD committee for several years and became Director in 2015.

In her spare time, she tries to relax as much as possible.

Rosemary ross B+W

ROSEMARY ROSS, Member Services and Chair

Rosemary is founder and co-director of Rosstang Architects, an architectural practice specialising in residential work.  Operating since 2004, Rosstang Architects has successfully completed many projects, and has been published both online and in print in Australia and internationally.   A student of Melbourne University, Rosemary has also worked in both Melbourne and Sydney for HBO + EMTB as Associate Director, and in Melbourne for Hayball.

Rosemary joined ArchiTeam in 2004.  After two years on the Member Services committee, Rosemary became director in 2013.  The Member Services Portfolio has undergone large changes in the past 2 years due to the introduction of compulsory CPD.    Rosemary is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge amongst the architectural profession, maintaining a low cost CPD program, and helping small practice.  As Secretary, Rosemary is responsible for maintaining the records of ArchiTeam, and to support ArchiTeam to be compliant with regulations.

Interests include art, running, skiing, dogs, cats, craft, coffee, family and friends.    Rosemary also sits on the Management Committee of the Early Education Program, supporting hearing impaired  children.

GRAY SMITH, Insurance and Secretary

Gray worked in arts administration for the Australia Council and New Vision Gallery in Auckland before starting his Architecture Degree at UTS in 1985.  After studying for three years and working for Allen Jack + Cottier, he transferred to RMIT in 1988 and graduated in 1989.  After graduation he worked in London and Florence before returning to Sydney where he worked for Architectus and De La Vega Architects.  Gray set up his own practice in 2001, working predominantly on inner-city residential and retail projects.

Gray returned to Melbourne in 2009 and established his practice here.  Gray was appointed to the Board of ArchiTeam at the 2009 AGM and is the director of marketing and editor of Datum. He is excited to be assisting to grow ArchiTeam to better meet the needs of it’s members and to increase the visibility of ArchiTeam in the architectural and broader communities.  Gray is also an Architecture writer for The Weekly Review magazine.



KATY ONG, Event Manager

Katy has worked extensively in the events industry from wedding planning, to styling, to operational coordination and now helps ArchiTeam plan their yearly calendar of events. When she isn’t busy planning events here, she’s daydreaming about planning events here.

SARAH LEIGHTON, Reception and Administration Officer

Sarah Leighton just joined ArchiTeam recently. Sarah has worked in administration for almost six years. Sarah likes to read and is a big board game lover.


Margaret Magalotti is the ArchiTeam bookkeeper.    She has been with ArchiTeam for over four years and is a talented musician who loves Jazz.
